The West Bengal Minority Development & Finance Corporation launched the Aikyashree scholarship scheme. Students from minority groups are offered financial incentives to continue their studies as part of this scholarship programme. This programme offers financial aid to both college and high school students.

This West Bengal scholarship programme is an example of an end-to-end scholarship. Students in grades 1 through PhD who require financial support are eligible for this scholarship programme.

Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply Online
The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum is a West Bengal Scholarship for Minorities: The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. The applicant must be in the eleventh or twelfth grade. If the candidate is pursuing a diploma or studying at the upper secondary level, they must have at least a 75 per cent average in high school. To graduate from high school, a student must have a grade point average of at least 75%. If the applicant’s yearly family income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh at the undergraduate level, the scholarship would be awarded on the basis of merit. Students pursuing M.Phil. and doctoral degrees are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.
West Bengal Pre-matric Scholarship –
The student should have a domicile in West Bengal and should belong to the SC or ST category. The students in classes nine and ten can avail of the scholarship with an annual income of fewer than 2 lakhs. The scholarship is designed for students of scheduled castes and tribes and provides them with the incentives to promote their education. The West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC requires the applicant to be a West Bengal permanent resident. For OBC students, the applicant’s annual family income must be less than Rs 100000, Rs 200000 for SC students, and Rs 2.5 lakh for ST students. This award is available to students in the 11th, 12th, graduation, or postgraduate levels. Only applicants who fall into the SC, ST, or OBC categories are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal. The candidate must be a female. The student/candidate must have graduated from any board’s 12th grade and pursued a degree in engineering, medicine, or fundamental science. West Bengal Hindi Scholarship Scheme –
Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal. The candidate must be from a state that does not speak Hindi. A Madhyamika, a higher secondary school, graduation, a postgraduate degree, or an equivalent degree programme must be completed by the student. The student must have received a 60% on the qualifying examinations. Hindi must be one of the applicant’s subjects.
The West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship is available to students in West Bengal. Student in Sc St, the student must be a resident of West Bengal. The applicant’s annual household income must be less than Rs 200000. The applicant must be in ninth or tenth grade. SC or ST applicants must fit into one of two groups.
