Oasis Scholarship Application 2023 – The Oasis Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students from the SC/ST/OBC categories who are economically disadvantaged. The scheme is designed to give financial rewards to students below an annual income of 2 lakhs and belonging to SC/ST category. The scholarship comes under the Aikyashree scheme initiated by the West Bengal government.

Benefits and Objectives
This program offers financial aid to both college and high school students. The government supports minority students with socioeconomic and educational opportunities with this award.
The scholarship uplifts the minority class and backward tribes and castes by giving them a chance to be equally opportunistic as other privileged students.
As a result of this program, the state’s literacy rate will improve. Students no longer have to be concerned about meeting their financial obligations. It’s vital to note that this program is only available to students from underrepresented communities.

Types of Scholarship –
The scholarship has two schemes, one is the pre-matric scheme and the other is the post metric, students fulfilling the eligibility criteria can benefit from these scholarships.
West Bengal Pre-matric Scholarship
The student must be a West Bengal resident who falls into the SC or ST category. Students in grades nine and ten who have an annual income of fewer than two lakhs rupees are eligible for the award. Students from scheduled castes and tribes are eligible for the scholarship, which gives them financial incentives to further their studies. http://oasis.gov.in/ is the website where you can apply for the scholarship.

West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship
SC/ST/OBC applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal. Annual family income for OBC students must be less than Rs 100000, Rs 200000 for SC students, and Rs 2.5 lakh for ST students. Students at the 11th, 12th, graduation, or postgraduate levels are eligible for this award. This scholarship is only open to applicants who fall into the SC, ST, or OBC categories.
